The dots explained
There are 4 different status colors:
- ● Green - this is good news, green = approved / issued / card delivered etc.
- ● Orange - action required, orange = request for evidence / expiring soon / insufficient funds etc.
- ● Red - problem, red = could not deliver / rejected / denied / refused / expired etc.
- ● Blue - normal, blue = all other status' that do not result in the above colors will be shown in blue
The first stage of a USCIS case is "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent". This is normal, no action is required and no decision has been made yet, therefore this is shown in blue.
As your case progresses, the status will change to reflect the current stage. The app will show your case history as it changes, and the colors will show next to each step. See below example:
This shows a green dot as the case has successfully been completed, all other status' were normal and therefore blue.
Another example is below:
This example shows multiple colors: blue, orange and red. These color dots reflect the status at those times in the case's history. e.g. in November there was a Request for Evidence (RFE), so action was required and it is shown in orange.
(NOTE: When using Spanish language, we are still updating color coding for Spanish status')
The same colors are also used on the Cases list screen:
And on the case details screen:
